How to install off-line cygwin and moshell by downloading from Base Band (On Site)

1-Disable Firewall & Antivirus software in PC

2-Change IP Address & Connect to Base Band

            IP Address     :           169.254.2.1

            Subnet mask  :           255.255.0.0

            Default GW    :           169.254.2.2

3-Browse htpps://169.254.2.2/em/index.html , then click “Cygwin for EMCLI”

4- Extract  cygwinBin4Emcli.zip

5-Run 'setup-x86.exe' file

4- Choose "Install from Local Directory", then click Next.

5- Root Directory "C:/cygwin" (It is not recommended to choose a different directory, especially if it contains spaces)

6-Directory to cygwin_emcli_2.1.0 that you extracted , then ‘Next’

7- Select Packages: Add the following packages:
- under "Archive", select "zip" and "unzip"
- under "Interpreters", select "perl: Perl program"
- under net, select "inetutils: Com", "openssh", "openssl"
- under shells, select "rxvt"
- under "Editors" select "vim" (optional)

9- Click Next. Install will start. Wait for installation to complete.

10- Paste or download the file 'http://utran01.au.ao.ericsson.se/moshell/cygwin_install.txt' to C:/Cygwin . (Find in mail attachment or download here : https://app.box.com/s/ur06zglcxudat7wy20hbeqo0n8loyvvu) 5kb size

11- Click on Start --> Run. In the "Run" window, type:
c:/cygwin/bin/perl c:/cygwin/cygwin_install.txt , then press "enter" .

This will create the following files:
c:/cygwin/etc/profile,
c:/cygwin/cygwin.bat,
c:/cygwin/home/user/.bashrc,
c:/cygwin/home/user/.Xdefaults,
c:/cygwin/home/user/.inputrc.
If those files already exist, they are automatically moved to the folder c:/cygwin/tmp/installbackup.

12- Open a cygwin terminal window by double-clicking on the cygwin icon in the start menu or on the file c:/cygwin/cygwin.bat.
The window should be black with white text and the prompt should like this: [~]$
If not, then go through all the steps again and make sure you haven't missed out anything.

13- Moshell installation:
- Download the moshellxxx.zip file from Moshell Home to c:/cygwin/home/User (Download here : https://app.box.com/s/9bswd4dfbkl911f4zt3a2sp9n427olcm ) 30Mb size

- Open the cygwin shell and run the following commands:
#unzip -o moshellxxx.zip (click ‘Enter’)
#bash moshell_install (click ‘Enter’)

The first prompt asks for the type of installation:
0) Full Version
1) Restricted+
2) Restricted
3) Limited

Your Choice (0, 1, 2, or 3): ‘0’ , click ‘Enter’

Please enter the following absolute pathes (auto-completion using <TAB>):

                - Directory where moshell should be installed: ( Click ‘Enter’ )

- Path to Java = /cygdrive/c/windows/system32/java . OK ? [y/n] y

- Path to perl (used by mobatch) = /usr/bin/perl . OK ? [y/n] y

Installation Successful !
